To obtain the best prices we would advise you to book as early as possible. LD Lines operate a fluid pricing system similar to those operated by budget airlines. If you are looking to travel during peak holiday times (such as half term holidays, bank holidays and peak summer season) prices will rise closer to the departure date.
If you require a cabin, again we would recommend you to book as soon as you know your itinerary as these will be high in demand and low in availability.
Please remember that by booking a cabin you are booking this for the exclusive use of yourself and your party and you will not be sharing it with any other passengers. Also remember when you book a cabin, to put in the number of cabins you require and not the number of people travelling in your party.
If you are taking a car that is larger than the standard allowed measurements (less than 5 metres in length and less than 1.85 metres high) please make sure that you have taken the correct measurements as an estimated vehicle length and height can cause you unnecessary expense. This also applies if you taking a van, motorhome, caravan or baggage trailer.
Do not delay making your booking because you are uncertain of the exact vehicle you are going to take. As long as you know the maximum length and height, enter TBC in the fields Registration Details and Make and Model.
If you have changed your vehicle since making a booking, or you have decided to take another vehicle instead, there is no need to inform us or the ferry company prior to departure of these changes as long as the vehicle is the same dimensions (or smaller) than the one originally booked (as this will cost you an unnecessary 10 pound or 15 euros admin fee).
There is limited availability so we would recommend you booking very early to ensure that you travel on the crossing of your choice.
Please ensure that you have double-checked all of the details of your reservation before confirming it. Failure to do so will always result in unnecessary expense.
